Default Harry Metcalfe and an Orange NSX-T

    hello old chums

I saw a video the other day which I've seen before but can't remember if anyone on here had ever spotted - it's a rather awful "Living with a Honda Hybrid" video c2011, but there's a bit towards the end where Harry Metcalfe drives his Insight into a service bay, and next door is an Imola Orange NSX-T, which looks to be what I think is the only facelift in orange in the UK; formerly owned by Rob/Boomin33 and James/Papalazarou - I wonder where it is now?

Hard to tell. I sold it to a nice guy who refurbed embassies. He paid the balance in 50’s. The bank was really pissed!
There is another orange targa owned by a guy from HUK. Not sure if he still has it.

    Cheers.

P.s, glad for the occasional post these days. It was beginning to feel like the Mary Celeste!

Maybe I've seen it when I had my Insights. Sold them 2018/late 2019 after 10 years. Nice to see a pristine one.

As for rare posts: rare driving, even rarer posts...

It’s a shame. When I first joined this forum, it was very busy. Now as you say; few posts and people rarely drive the cars. I guess back then there wasn’t value in the cars and we were all younger with less responsibilities. I will post some photos of our mini meet soon. It didn’t entirely go to plan, but will explain more when I post the pics.

    Cheers.

I'll drive mine more as soon as some 'personal' issues are sorted out which kept me from driving and repairing it. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one facing a similar scenario.

The cars became that pricey that no younger car enthusiastic is dumping that kind of money into one of them, so some cars are ending up on a dealer's lot waiting for years for a buyer.

I think times have changes a bit. When I joined this forum, (I was also a member of other forums) and these kind of things were popular and before social media really took off, now Facebook/twitter has killed everything!

Anyhoo, I will be updating my "build " thread very soon, getting a little bit of work done to my car

Forums were new and unique back then. Many Facebook sites seem to be 'lost places' nowadays too.

Hi Ewan, hope you are well. I think that service bay is the HONDA UK service bay somewhere near their old Head Office at junction 5 of the M4. So it could be one of the HONDA UK cars. I also have a feeling I may have driven that CR-Z that Harry dives off in

Postings on here are few and far between, but I guess that is just the way of the world, but I also wonder if there aren't many things to discuss as we have probably already discussed it over the last 20 plus years

One reason the forum got a little bit quiet is the absence of email notifications. Prime had this too and there was more activity after fixing the email function.

Hmm, e-mail notifications are working for me .. just got a notice about your reply to the AC issues. Not super reliable, though.
