    Default Sun visors

    Hi guys,
My central sun visor could do with some TLC so thought I’d send the 3 away to get recovered. Any suggestions to whom I should speak/send them?

    Thanks.

I think several owners used the re-upholstery services or even DIY-ed so hope they can chime-in.

You may not like the idea of changing the appearance but I normally recommend the owners to go for the later spec black cloth style visors instead of the grey vinyl ones.

Ultimately, you can replace all of the A-pillar garnish, visors, ceiling, seatbelt (B-pillar) cover and the room light housing/switch to the black spec but you can just change a few at a time.

Not sure they are still available or not.

recovered with black napa leather via an upholsterer a few years back now and its a grand job. as Kaz says most stuff can be done this way. Plenty of specialists about that can do this sort of thing and a lot cheaper than new parts from Honda

i did mine in a matching grey vinyl, as i had some that was an exact match kicking about!.. sew it into a long thin pocket, slide the visor in and give it a steering wheel style seam along the top. the biggest faff is if you want to keep the passenger side mirror

any trimmer/upholsterer should be able to sort it easily

...... if a photobucket pic is foggy, click it, and it'll take you to the clear version, yes, it's a clicking faff....
