Thread: Ordering Nuts

    Default Ordering Nuts

Where do people buy nuts from? I’m replacing anti-roll bars and links front & rear. I need 16-off M12 fine self lock flange nuts. 16 x £8 is obviously a bit pricey from HUK!

If OEM, get them from Japan although you may pay more for the delivery than 8 x nut.
Not sure why you need 16 though if replacing just the sway bar and the link….
Should be less than GBP3 each before leaving Japan.
    Many online shops available.

If you go with the aftermarket sway/drop link, the nut is normally included.

By the way, good luck removing these nuts from the link.
Quite often, the HEX hole gets rounded and you end up cutting the link body although you are replacing it anyway so not a problem.

Link sheared anyway when installing new suspension.. all rotten, so replacing the lot. You’re right ofcourse on no’s off, front diagram states 8 req’d so just doubled without thinking, but 8 will do all 4 corners. Japan it is then, bit strange not available in U.K., but can’t really trust the quality from most suppliers
