Thread: Driveshaft parts needed

  1. Default Driveshaft parts needed

I've a couple of worn top hats on my driveshaft & looking for new ones. They come supplied with new CV joints but these are not currently available from Honda. I'd rather not buy a complete driveshaft (self employed, no earnings currently etc) so would prefer to buy them individually if possible. Anyone have any or know of a source outside of Honda?

    Thanks.

Try Christian at ATR for the used ones.

Hard to tell from your photo but if the damages are not too deep, the properly designed good quality grease will assist the needle bearing under high pressure force and minimise the further wear.
At some point, you should consider replacing it with the rebuilt one.

Another option is that you can buy both driveshafts from Rock Auto very reasonably, saves you time as well.

I have a Rock Auto one on my car. It was cheaper than rebuilding the original one. But at the time I had that work done, they only sold the manual transmission shaft for one side.
