Seems SOS and Marc Perez in Japan have both released 02+ style wheels... 17/17 and 17/18 flavours... Seems an awful coincidence!!!! A set have turned up on faceache too, surplus to requirements after selling their car (quite why you'd sell the car when you have a set of wheels on their way I will never know) anyhoo up for 2k, not sure if that's $, £, or scam!!!

I got in touch with SOS regarding these wheels and was told that Christian at ATR will also be a selling them which will help with shipping costs.

I'm keeping an eye on them too - the current AD08Rs (only real bet for 16/17s with enthusiastic driving) aren't exactly wet-weather optimised, so I either need to get a set of 17/17 (PS4 fitment) or a second set of alloys to fit winters on.

Black '99 ITR - well, I had to have another one, the first was so much fun. Miss this one even more than #1...
Blue '03 S2000 - SOLD, flawed but fun
Blue '04 Focus TDCi Sport - SOLD, very good fun for a diesel!
Black '00 ITR - SOLD, still missed
Red '98 Civic VTi - SOLD, probably still bombproof

AD08Rs may not be optimised but I was out on some pretty awful road conditions over the weekend, including standing water and mud from major building works and they didn’t offer any concerns (circa 800 miles of use for reference)

Ref the wheels, the O2 looks so right on our cars which is why Ive not gone aftermarket ... although the 17/18 idea is appealing to reintroduce the stance ...

That is an interesting proposition to make to Christian.

For those interested in a set please stick your name down here with the specifications you require

I am happy to ask Christian as i have been in touch regarding a set already and see if he can do anything. But there is no point in asking if NOT sufficent interest. I tried to arrange a GB on another forum one time and had loads of people saying they would do it. Then when i pursued those 'interested' the GB did not last long.

These wheels are NOT cheap when landed (but still cheaper than buying from Honda) so please ONLY put your name down if happy to proceed

I am hoping to make a potential purchase over the off season, so dont wish to hang about too long if there is a potential GB option.

NB. Christian if you are on here please feel free to add a response to the thread

    Thanks Andrew,

Before committing I would like to know if the 17/18 option will work with my current suspension/spacer set up. I’m running the Bilsteins on the lower perch, with 15FRT / 25RR spacers which give my the BBK clearance as well as the full arch stance I wanted.

I don’t want to change/remove spacers as the plan would be to use the OEM 17s as basis for cold weather tyres.

    regards, Paul

No worries Paul, you definitely need to know the score before you can commit.

I will update on my situation as looking into a couple of options as well as the SOS option.
