Default First proper drive of the year

I was able was to get out in both cars this weekend for the a proper good drive, they are such fun cars to drive, but I did have to remind my self to engage the clutch and put it in gear in the older one rather than just press a button.
I've now done over 6K miles in the new one.

I didn't have a chance to drive them yet, even though the weather was nice so far. Too much cars, too much cleaning, polishing and servicing. Working them off as far as some free time is available. On top of that, only two days after re-registration the car for the season, the MOT wants to see them (overdue to storage) - a new record for them I guess, so even more work to do...
At least I was able to do an 'installation lap' with some of them. So far so good.

    Hi Paul,

So with 6k miles clocked up, how has it been to live with and use in real world conditions ... Chris Harris really rated the car as a drivers machine ... knowing how you like to enjoy your driving I’m sure others like myself would be pleased to hear from a Lon term owner ...

Trust all is well, hopefully catch up this year

    regards, Paul

I had the car out yesterday for the first time in 6 months - a lot of travelling coupled with the foul conditons of Highland roads in winter covered with grit and salt means that it stayed locked away. It fired up on the first turn of the starter (the benefits of the CTek) and drove like it had been out every day. Astonishing cars.
