    Does anybody recognize a difference?

    Correct, front and rear fog lights. The disturbing thing was to have two non-functional switches which have been replaced by blanks, OEM parts.

    Isn't a rear foglight required by law? It is in the UK but fronts are not.

    There's maybe a little bit fog in the UK than here in Switzerland. Noone at the MOT ever said a word about it. They've just asked me if the fogs have been removed because the switches are still there. I said yes the the switches have been disconnected also.

    Well I guess "foglight" is a general description given by car manufacturers etc. I suppose a greater intensity rear safety light then for driving in poor visibility... Or do you not drive or ever get caught out in the heavy rain lol?
