    Default Catalytic converter

    Can anyone recommend a place to get a new cat as I would amagine Honda would want me to take out a mortgage.

    Hi, Ian.
    What kind of issue are you experiencing with your CAT?

    Under normal driving condition, OEM CAT should last almost for the life of the car unless one allowed too much un-burnt fuel entering the CAT resulting in broken honeycomb structure, etc.
    For later spec models, under such condition, the CEL would flash rapidly to warn the driver.

    Thanks for the quick response, I'll text you a picture from my phone. It looks like a part of the outer casing has broken off, maybe still ok?
