Thread: Heater issue

    Ok kaz , now i understand...
    i thought that the dark area in the board was just some kind of miscolored laquer. i did not understand that the board was different on each side

    even if i love DIY for many things, i am not an electronic specialist at all.
    do you really think i can do this job without shooting the board altogether?

    i am a bit too "risk taker" if you know what i mean, so if you tell me "try it" i will try. (i really don't know if i have the skills needed)

    can this do the trick to strip the board?

    yesterday i began the work can you help on what to do next
    i just did it with a very light sandpaper and it was enough

    What do i do next?
    can i just weld the caps like this and the put a coating?

    do i need to "recreate " the ring around the cross on the minus side?
    same question for the dot on the plus side?

    ok then,

    you'll be happy to hear that everything went well. i scrapted everything i could and then try to do something as close as possible to what does KAZ. the track was not so corroded, i just had some lead on some weak points and put a wire on the backside to keep the continuity.
    as far as i can tell, all the fonctions came back well in the car.
    i will keep on checking for a week or two and then i want to protect everything with a coating.
    What kind of coating do i have to use?

    ps: and know, my radio do not give me any sound..... not one sound. everything light up and do as normal but i ear no sound even volume knob all the way up
