Hi, anyone have a UK spec radio sat on a shelf? The Jdm radio with frequency expander has never worked well so would like to swap it out.

Hi, Kye_P.
I must admit, I don't listen to the radio while driving so don't know how bad the radio reception in your area (user title suggests in Oxford???) but do test JDM head unit with frequency expander including the one on my JDM NSX.
With the area I live (Bucks), I can get at least 6+ very strong FM radio station signal.
Therefore, the issue you are experiencing may not be related to the head unit and something else.
You may want reviewing the following points but as this is in 'Wanted Forum', I'll keep it short and sent you the detail through email instead.
The make/model of the frequency expander.
The two antenna connected to the diversity system (JDM/US head unit only, not used on the European models).
The RF connectors behind both seats.
If using the bee-sting type short aerial (like S2000 or aftermarket one), the amplifier setting.
