The US service manual states to replace the TB after 90k miles or 72 months. I don't see how the TB should age while the car is for storage in a dry place with ambient temps. I guess they've built-in a lot of reserve in that recommended number (72 years) if someone lives in a very humid or hot climate. So 10 years for a low-miler might be a good compromise.
Kaz, could be describe us in short where you pull the vaccum on the cooling system and how much air you get out by doing so?
EDIT: just saw a video on youtube describing the process. Not sure if old coolant hoses like it.
