Default lil NSX winter 2017/18 project

not posted much lately as been a lil bit busy with my dad's Honda S800 rust bucket restoration project this year, and now the Hotrod (possible BIVA test) modifications, but i managed to plan a lil something on the NSX.....

i'm fed up with this at the back....

so it was time to do something about it, and seeing a post on nsxprime, I played with some card and bought an A4 piece of carbon fibre board.....

a quick jigsaw and fettle and i have these....

some may not like it, but as i use mine all year round, practicalities sometime have to take precedence! it's all reversible later if necessary! just got to take it out in some weather now to see if it worked as planned!!

this was supposed to be a longer project, but having pre-planned the card templates, and worked out i could get all 4 from a single A4 piece, it took about 35 mins from the first cut to fitted and finished!!! oh well, back to the hotrod then, just the little issue of moving the seat belt top mount up about an inch, yes, really! apparently they are too low

Nice touch Jonathan, not too obtrusive, I'm sure they'll do the trick.👍

I came across this article on Speed Hunters yesterday and instantly thought of your car being tested, it's a charlotte green auto and has some stunning arty photos in the write up:

Im sure you will enjoy it anyway.

From the photos the fronts look to fit better .... but they do appear a bit ‘simple’ by your standards ... where’s the detailed mold making, forming from a moulton plastic to give that OEM look we’ve come to expect from your ingenious mind??

Hope they work as planned ...

Britlude in Portugal all cars until 1992 were equipped from factory with mudguards, including the 1991 NSX!

Here is a picture of a Portuguese 1991 NSX with OEM mudguards
