A few years ago I disabled it full time at the control unit anyway as the light on the dash was so bright and it can get hot and burn the yellow dash lens, but the main reason is that I didn't have to keep turning it of when I started the engine.Originally Posted by britlude

Happy New Year. Spotted a pre facelift green car at Brooklands New Year event this morning. Lots of people commenting on it. Am ashamed to say I didn't bring mine along despite being very close.
