First question has to be, why such a massive increase in showroom price compared to us???
And considering it's a left hand drive model going to a continent that almost gives you a driving ban for exceeding just 55mph.
Australia have only got five or six on order, are you surprised???, but at least they do get their only personal mechanic.

New cars are even more expensive in Australia than they are in New Zealand, where they are more expensive than in the UK.
The main reason is that Australia has a luxury car tax of 33% once the car is over the threshold level:
