It's great to see the programme back to what it ought to be, away from the over-weening political correctness/ignorance of the PeadBC.
We Honda anoraks have got quite used to using model codes for cars with the same name, so referring to NA or NC-cars seems perfectly logical to me - I always have. It's a bit presumptuous to refer to the Acura GT5000 as the 'NB' (that might have been assigned to the transverse-engined new NSX, but I doubt it got that far before going inline) but if it helps to avoid confusion...
Of course, Honda FKed us up by using the same code for two generations of Euro-Civic; UFO & Bagpuss...
I do regard the NC as being a Honda NSX, merely too much car & too much tech for my requirements - that might change after I drive it, of course.
I think I'd likely be more comfortable with an NA or an Evora or somesuch.

“I find myself irresistibly attracted to cars that nobody else buys. The NSX is a classic of the genre because nobody buys it and yet it’s a fantastic car. It’s got a wonderful compactness and simplicity and unpretentiousness to it. Honda rudely continues to make them whether we like it or not, even though there can be no commercial logic in doing so — I thoroughly admire that.” Rowan Atkinson
