silverstone classic 2016 pictures!!! picture heavy, obviously!

Once again Silverstone Classic is upon us, and the epic trip to Towcester is again hampered by the Dartford crossing… so much for the ‘free flow’ system that’s only adding 1 hour to my journey north!!!


Anyway, Friday morning we’re at the track nice and early, not quite as early as planned as Silverstone still seem to have issues getting cars into the circuit even after all these years practice!

We find the Honda pitch and set up for the day, a quick wander over to the ‘Wing’ international paddock and we find an NSX in the Auction.. a ’93 JDM auto….

... it must be tired, it's resting it's chin on the kerb!!


(later to be sold in the auction for £25k!)


There were a few other nice cars, and a couple of very nice project cars! I could have gone in to see the rest of the auction, but admission was by catalogue only, and I wasn’t that keen, after all, it wasn’t raining this year!


Back at camp, Friday had 5 NSX waving the banner… and all different colours too



spent the rest of the day taking in the sites, wandering around, listening to the bands..... didn’t stay for Boomtown rats, but reports from friends were less than complimentary… as was Bob Geldof apparently!!!

Saturday was a far healthier turnout, owners new and old joining the merry band at the honda camp!






Making full use of the supplied facilities, thanks to our Honda contacts, and Mike for the supplies and facilities!!
