I have always disliked the mx5. The new one with an upgrade looks more interesting

My neighbour and good friend has a GT86 and over the last 2 years of ownership has turned it into one of the finest intelligently modified examples in Britain if not the World.

He paid £20,000 for the car and carried out all the work himself at home on his drive.

Here is his build thread on his forum.

Like a dream to be honest.
He has just had the suspension set up recently and as for performance, unbelievable compared to when he first bought it and I feel sure it feels quicker than my NSX but I would never admit that to him.

I think he's planning now to get TRD seats next.

Of course he is going to claim that. They all do. Get him on the track with a few corners and kick his whiteness into infinity. Long live the REDS

You could do a lot worse than a Honda S2000 - compliments the NSX perfectly as it is so different.
    Nick

“I find myself irresistibly attracted to cars that nobody else buys. The NSX is a classic of the genre because nobody buys it and yet it’s a fantastic car. It’s got a wonderful compactness and simplicity and unpretentiousness to it. Honda rudely continues to make them whether we like it or not, even though there can be no commercial logic in doing so — I thoroughly admire that.” Rowan Atkinson
