  1. Default Silverstone Auction

    2005 Last 12 for sale - shoud be an interesting benchmark for prices if it goes for the estimate - especially with the mileage !

    That's a good result Mike and consistent with a few exploratory discussions I had about mine.

    looks like neither car made its' reserve. Good news for those still looking to buy, the prices have'nt yet reached astronimic heights.

    Or It could be that the market has reached it's astronimic heights and is now cooling off, as previously mentioned by me on more than one occasion, I'll make this my last mention of it though ; )

    It could also be because someone didn't like the mileage/colours/spec. Simples. Talk of prices on forums don't really help the sellers

    No, but everyone does it, not just NSX owners. The difference is that Ferrari owners believe their cars are worth* more than they really are, whereas we often think the opposite...

    * relative and subjective term...YMMV

    Blue '08 FD2 CTR - big, ITR-sized shoes to fill...
    Yellow '96 NSX 3.0 - oh was it worth the wait!
    Black '99 ITR - well, I had to have another one, the first was so much fun. Miss this one even more than #1...
    Blue '03 S2000 - SOLD, flawed but fun
    Blue '04 Focus TDCi Sport - SOLD, very good fun for a diesel!
    Black '00 ITR - SOLD, still missed
    Red '98 Civic VTi - SOLD, probably still bombproof
