It looks like an ultra-smooth HSC with a corset waist and larger side air intakes.

yup, gorgeous definitely better than the new clone, can clearly see the nsx heritage in its lines, ive always like the shape of the peugeot rcz, great lines and perhaps the way our nsx should have evolved over time, i can easily see a honda badge on that with a few tweaks here and there.

I've seen neither in the metal, so am unable to judge.

Problem is, that concept bears no relation to the current Acura design language (arguably a good thing!) so makes zero sense wrt the rest of the range.

“I find myself irresistibly attracted to cars that nobody else buys. The NSX is a classic of the genre because nobody buys it and yet it’s a fantastic car. It’s got a wonderful compactness and simplicity and unpretentiousness to it. Honda rudely continues to make them whether we like it or not, even though there can be no commercial logic in doing so — I thoroughly admire that.” Rowan Atkinson

agree here, concepts always exaggerate wheel sizes or sizes of parts of the car (front/rear). some concepts look cool
but will never see production. mazda's rx vision concept brought elements of all the rx7's and rx8 and cosmo together and it looked great.
but if a production model is built we won't see some of the cool designs.

i do like the rear, sides and front of this nsx design, but not the lights, look outta place, but its a concept lol.

must be my old eyes - but from the front and front top view it looks like something from the "Cars" animated movie
