Thread: Aeriel restriction

  1. Default Aeriel restriction

Anyone advise on the part required to stop my aerial from going up each time I turn the stereo on? I use the CD input to drive my music so there is no need for the aerial to be up.

Go into the boot, remove the carpet from by the ariel and just unplug the wire from the motor. It's that easy.

Try a WTB on the Prime site for a Smartenna. The device disables the aerial when the CD is working, it plugs inline between the CD plug and socket in the boot. The Smartenna was produced by Zublin Engineering and originally sold by SOS and Dali, SOS no longer list them and Dali no longer exists. Might be available second hand from someone installing a non OEM stereo.

Simple switch in line with the aerial power, just turn on if required?
