Had a wonderful afternoon, can't recommend enough to you all about taking the NSX on a track :!: It really is a wonderful car even in my rather big fat hands

if you're going to do that regularly, you really want to get some stiffer swaybars!!

Hi Joe how you doing? A guy i know in my home town has the same car as you.I was talking to him the other day and he told me he had a little dabble against an NSX,and he was level peggings with it.He said his car is making 150 bhp due to some mods.Soooo my question is,having owned both do you think he is full of brown stuff or are they indeed that quick???

Hey Ivor - doing ok, thanks..

As for your friend, I'd have to doubt his information - my car should make a little more than 150hp in stock trim (~220hp at the crank, ~175ish at the wheels - don't know what the tx-loss is though, so it may be less).. So I'd have to ask what kind of mods he has to bring it down so much (or did you mean 250?)

The trouble with comparing cars is you never really know how hard the other guy is trying - so he may have been 'on level pegging', but the NSX driver may have been trying to tune the radio at the time!

I'm pretty sure that some guys in kent would have claimed to have 'killed' my NSX, simply because I'm not interested in racing on the road (I can hear them now 'yeah, that NSX is cr*p, I outdragged him in my Saxo VTS, and he was like, nowhere, man'. t*ssers!

In the hands of comparable drivers (on a closed circuit etc etc), the ITR is not as fast as the NSX - it's ultimately compromised by FWD and power delivery (the lack of torque on some corners will let the NSX get away).
But they're not that far apart.. I'd say an ITR is comparable to an S2K, if that gives you an idea?

    Cheers

PS: I'm comparing stock-with-stock, before anyone comes in with the 'my modified ITR with 330hp is quicker than an NSX' - well, yes, it will be...

Oh, if that's the case I think the ITR will be biting the NSX's heels
