I might really struggle to get £125k past the wife. Worse than that, I resent the idea of a performance model coming so soon afterwards. It's a slap in the face to the early adopters. Let's face it, who is ordering an NSX if not for the performance version?

On the plus side, it looks like they have started delivery of cars already to deposit holders!

I haven't received mine yet but this was sent to me by a friend who also has a deposit down.

    Five large for that?

Makes CMC models look cheap. Mind you, those are exquisite.

“I find myself irresistibly attracted to cars that nobody else buys. The NSX is a classic of the genre because nobody buys it and yet it’s a fantastic car. It’s got a wonderful compactness and simplicity and unpretentiousness to it. Honda rudely continues to make them whether we like it or not, even though there can be no commercial logic in doing so — I thoroughly admire that.” Rowan Atkinson

WongKN of ToVAsia has an interesting question; does that model have rear seats, or is it a luggage area?

Blue '04 Focus TDCi Sport - SOLD, very good fun for a diesel!
Black '00 ITR - SOLD, still missed

Autocar featured an early peek at the McLaren Sports Series (aka 550S or whatever it'll be called) - http://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/ne...sche-911-turbo - and in the mag, it had a side panel showing 6 "rivals the Sports Series must Beat" - 911 turbo, AMG GT, BMW i8, new Audi R8 due next year with Huracan underpinnings, AM Vantage and the new NSX, described as "expected to be cheaper (£75k) but no less fun".

I wonder what they'd say if the NSX was the same price as the McLaren...
