How about the 7hotel diner on the 30th instead?

As from 6am on Sunday the toll booths on the Dartford Xing will have been decommissioned, no payments at the crossing, ANPR cameras and payment in a manner similar to the Congestion Charge.
Might be the long way round for us Essex boys.

if, of course, they manage to get the ANPR working right... current testing has a 40% hit rate!!! they seem to be relying on the honesty of people paying by phone/online

i know the current ANPR for the dart tags can't see either of my cars! (they log the number plate against the dart tag when it's detected!!! my cars give a blank!!!)

anyway, it's supposed to be progress and improve everything! (though there will still be traffic control for Essex bound traffic!)

So will my dart tag still work with this system?
