I have received the following reply from Holiday Inn at Northampton:

"Good Afternoon Sharon

Further to our conversation Monday, I spoken with the general manager at the Holiday inn Express Northampton regarding the Following details .

Group Allocation: BMW

24 & 25 July 2015
30 x bedrooms .
Hotel offers Free WI FI and free car parking
Check in time is any time after 3 pm on the date of arrival and departure is by midday on the date of departure.

Rate offered @£90.00 per Room -per night .
The rate is fully inclusive of VAT ,and a complimentary buffet style breakfast – Serving three hot items of scrambled egg, bake beans & Sausage - as per IHG brand standard .

Terms and conditions would be apply for this allocation , the Hotel would require full payment at booking - This payment is non-refundable encase of cancellation.
All unsold rooms will be released 30 days prior to arrival – after this any guests wishing to make a reservation will be offered the best available rate at booking.

If you would like to proceed with the above details - Please confirm back to me, Nothing is holding presently for you .

I have emailed Dawn back to say that the Group Allocation should be Honda NSX not BMW. However please can people let me know this weekend if they are happy with the Price per room per night, as well as the Terms and Condition "the Hotel would require full payment at booking - This payment is non-refundable encase of cancellation". I would like to email Dawn back this Sunday evening to confirm if to hold the rooms for me so a pm would be appreciated

The idea is that once I have confirmed with Holiday Inn that we want to go ahead they will issue a code that you can quote when you will be able to ring up and book a room.

I've PM'd already. The hotel is a fantastic idea. However, what I'll do, as I am relatively close to Silverstone, I'll let anyone who is traveling a distance to have first bids on the rooms. If there are any available after that, then I'll get one.
