Resistor for detachable steering wheel

Hi everyone, does anybody know what resistor is required for the disarming of the airbag? I have a feeling it is most likely to be 3.3ohms?

Hi, Andy.

As far as I know, the open circuit detection inside the SRS controller for the igniter is level sensing and not the current one.
It already has high impedance on the I/F circuit side.
You can either add a few ohm resistor or simply just short it.
On my NSX, I just shorted it when I installed NSX-R steering wheel long time ago.
