Thread: F360?

    Default F360?

    Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone on here has moved on from their NSX into an F360 and if so what were their experiences. I have briefly driven and been driven in one for a good distance in the alps and I am rather smitten by them, I see that could be a next step for me. Any advice would be appreciated, this would likely be next year, I do love my NSX

    thanks,
    joe

I think Marky on here has one, but he doesn't post very often. Search for user Marky and you might find a photo or 2.

Nothing sounds like a Ferrari v8, I hear they are pretty strong and not that temperamental.
    Good luck with search/purchase.

Thanks! Yeah they do sound amazing with aftermarket exhausts. I have a delicious memory of a 360 spider giving it the beans in the tunnel under mt blanc. Incredible.

I will be keeping my nsx this year as I hope to buy a property, however next year fingers crossed I will sell my nsx and buy a 360 spider I haven't come across many horror stories during my research this year, a few blown engines across hundreds of owners seems pretty good. Rigorous servicing seems to be the order of the day, which is just how I treat my nsx.

It is either this path or steer towards an nsxr however I am not convinced an nsxr gives adequate value for money for me, however much I want one!

Have you tried a 355 Tokyo-Joe, everything I have read suggests this is a better car than the 360. It is also worth talking to Dave at Forza288 based in Hampshire, he is an independent Ferrari specialist and known as Ferrari Dave by his friends.

Had a passenger ride in a 360 many years ago, great car, would love one if I had the space and deeper pockets!

My old neighbour had a Spider, nice & been for few spins. With regards to ownership, it was rarely used & was kept
    in a storage.

Well I have a year to wait - and a year to enjoy my lovely NSX I would like to take it to Lemans and the Petrol Head Nirvana tour to Brittany hopefully!

The F360 is when Ferrari finally caught up (with the NSX). Full aluminium chassis and decent reliability. I drove one at Thruxton. It felt a little bit faster than the NSX but much firmer, even than my Type S. Steering felt very different being both lighter and quicker/faster.

I'd avoid the Spyder and "F1" automated gearbox but that's probably just me being a purist. Don't expect NSX running costs though even if you get one with all the big routine service stuff just one!

I prefer the looks of the F355 which, if it didn't need to be a daily driver, would be my choice if I wanted an obvious supercar This colour and spec would do me... http://classifieds.pistonheads.com/c...55-gtb/1026101

    Thanks for the comments!

i appreciate several of your passions for the 355, but to me it's the 360's smooth and flared looks that's the only one I would consider. I think it looks timeless and will (and has) age very well.
