It is a big move. I'm 55, so we think it's for at least 5 years. Housing is very, expensive. We are therefore selling up to stretch ourselves. House prices are shooting up.
Agree with you about...
Mixture of excitement and fear... I just accepted a job offer meaning a move to Toronto. Selling up the house, pension cash in, selling two buy to let's and, wait for it... ALL the car collection.
...
I thought it went for less than I'd expected. Compared with Ferraris sold on BaT, this NSX would have been a far better buy.
The shipping process is quite straight forward. Cost of shipping in US is about £1k (pick up in NY and ship from NY to UK) UK end is about £0.5k.
The duty/VAT is then 5% of car cost including...
I recently bought a nice 912 Outlaw on this site. Bringatrailer.com. Car currently on a ship heading to Felixstowe.
Theres a nice, low miles, NSX on the site, ending in a few days. It'll be...
Excellent. I'm also showing the car next day at Blenheim Palace 9.30am to 12pm. Salon Prive coffee and cars.
Anyone else planning on going to this event next weekend? I was told by the organiser that mines the only NSX going.
Like it. What's the spec. Colour does look different to Formula red
I'm with you on this. I too took my 6 month SORN car out - a 60 mile round trip to pick up my daughter.
Not having a drive for that long makes you appreciate the quality of tha car
I just noticed a lovely 3.2 at ClassicHeroes, a dealer in Sussex. 9k miles, manual. £85k seems pretty reasonable to me. I'd buy if I had garage space...
This is car or a new 911 (basic car - that...
Been having irritating and intermittent issues with immobiliser (tracker/after market) for last 12 months.
Finally took plunge and got a specialist to get rid of what ever was causing issues....
I've been to the last three LMC, love it. I'm going with a crowd of guys/girls - camp in Blue. This year I'm taking the NSX, so would be very keen to try and join up with other club members and get...
Been a while since a late model car put up for sale. Will be very interested to see how it goes.
Just acquired a 71 RHD 240z... Something to drive around in. Take my mind off the urge to drive the NSX!
Little interest, so will probably remove from market and simply keep and enjoy. My son said 'what do you replace it with if you sell?' Good point
Thanks everyone. Took the battery to Honda who checked it. Said the battery was faulty and will replace FOC.
I trickle charge it, but even when out of the car on full charge - the battery did not...
Looks like I'm on my 3rd Honda battery, last one fitted in March. Is it common to have batteries fail? Mine does not hold charge and it's only 6 months old. Granted - the car does very few miles -...
Let's see if this generates interest to do a deal. I'm in no hurry.
I have had quite a few non-paint dents removed by expert dent removes - on a variety of cars. All with superb end results. But not on NSX - which is aluminium. Don't think it should matter - but Al...
I have pulled the Pistonheads advert. A premium car dealer in Loughborough has seen the car and thinks I will probably have a better chance of selling through their showroom and contacts. Should be...
Thanks MC. Spot on. Market price by very definition needs a market! In absence of market...?
A well known, to this forum, an 'investment grade' NSX. Formula Red, full Honda service history (last serviced November 2014), totally immaculate with guaranteed 15,350 miles. Manual, black leather....
I know nothing about the issue, but just a crazy idea. How about doing a temporary fix? Glass fibre and epoxy?
Problem sorted!
Not sure if it's a Honda system or not, seemed to remember previous owner James fitted a tracker. There's a credit card like device hidden in the car. It must have gone to sleep,...
