Wow - makes a mockery of current asking prices!
Looking good. :)
(but I missed the front wing info!)
Good stuff. Which one did you go for? There are still so few on the market.
I'll almost certainly be selling my manual NSX once it's recommissioned and I still like the idea of buying an auto NSX...
Thanks for the suggestion. I found a place listing both front and rears of the Fleva as available - about £470 for all 4.
Same place lists AD08Rs as available.
Good to know. These struts will be one fo the last things we're doing on my car. Nice to have an option.
Bit of a long shot, but worth asking!
I am looking for 4x brake disks and pads for a '93 manual coupe. The ones I have are not worth trying to rescue/reuse. So in the vague hope that someone here...
Current suggestions on tyres for a '93 with the original 'fat five' alloys? Just for street driving, no winter driving.
IIRC, I need 205/50R15 and 225/50R16 (car's at the workshop so I can't go...
Out of interest, is that vapour blasting? Looks super-clean, and I think, it's used on alu (but not ferrous).
Bumping thread - the potential buyer of the engine no longer wants it, so it's available once more.
Engine price: £6,000
I'd prefer to sell it as a complete assembled unit, and will give it a...

Very timely. I discussed this with the guys recommissioning my '93 coupe and they were keen on it, too. Not sure if it's worth it on my car, though.
One Q: rubber/plastic parts are all left...
Gearbox sold.
Engine sale pending...
ECU sale to follow with new listing and more detail...
Good info, thanks.
The buyer for the '95 engine doesn't want the ECU anyway, so I can do as you say - and save it to photo-document and sell separately.
Thanks Kaz. So the ECU is the conundrum, with everything else checking out for the chassis. Reassuring.
On the ECU, do we know if there is extra security/coding within a 2000-2002 ECU that could...

Yup - can do. The buyer of the gearbox wants to see the number anyway, so I will sort out those photos tomorrow.
From the previous owner, I've also got photos of the (unfortunate) donor car's...
Sale of gearbox is pending. I am checking the gearbox number to confirm snap-ring isn't relevant. Will update ASAP.
Sale of engine is pending. Will update ASAP.
Not sure about the ECU. Anyone...
62,000 miles, taken from a wrecked car (1995, if I remember right) and put into dry storage since.
Throttle is the by-wire type.

Price: £7500 collection from Cambridge.
Fed up of being overly-cosseted in your Honda supercar? Want to hear less Radio 3 and more V6 in your life? Or perhaps you just want more people to come and chat whenever you park or fill up with...
It's been there for 10+ years. If I remember right, there's a sign on it saying "No, it's not for sale!"
That'll make a change. Poor old Graham's had no NSXs to sell for ages.
E5NSX also went at a different auction at the weekend: £43k+12%+VAT, IIRC - about £50k total. Pretty good for an auto.
And makes the manual NA1 in our Classifieds look like a superb bargain.
Agreed.
(There's a bargain in our Classifieds right now.)
(looks at auto NSXs listed on AT/PH/Ebay - all £46000+)
(looks at this manual NSX)
Bargain! Good luck with the sale. :)
Agree on the new colour.
There was an early NA1 Kaiser Silver NSX in Ireland when I was first looking (JDM presumably). It looked the mutt's nuts. Sudesh gave me some advice on it, but I missed...
