Thanks for documenting all this!
This will help me a lot when doing my gearbox. I have some whiny gearbox noises in fifth gear and also a little gearbox leaver movement when getting on and off...
I removed the air box completely with connection hose. Throttle body can stay. The coolant expansion tank can stay connecting. just move it up over the throttle body.
And there is THE TRICK ... I...
I liked the SOS version because of the relocation. Its straight forward, just a peace of braided line. Its really well made. They even supply the pin and rubber sealing to reuse the oem connector and...
SOS sells a replacement sending unit for a goos price. I swapped my old tired sending unit for the SOS unit and now get consistent numbers. Mine was also fluctuating between 1 and 6 ... sometimes 2...
I drove one complete season now with the bypassed resistor.
The only issue I had was the emission test during the yearly inspection. The engine runs rich at idle. It seems that it has a bit too...
Thats also what I would do.
Replacing the bearings. Inspecting all the other parts. Measuring the clearances and the shims. Buy the appropriate shims and other stuff needed. Perfect winter...
Cool Thread. My Gearbox also has some bearing noises. 160k Miles. Other than that it is totally fine. I will leave it like that for now. Will have to remove the engine any way some time in the future...
Have seen the video 2 days ago.
Question is, why they replaced the flywheel. Unless its damaged, why would anyone change that? Shouldn't it last multiple clutches?
Beside the flywheel, the...
The biggest issue I had with not fitting parts was with brake disks. The Legend disks are listed to fit NSX in the biggest european aftermarket catalog. This catalog is used by most of the online...
I think there are many NSXs running the NSX-R modulator with non-R master cylinder. Including myself.
Even though it was fun do dissect the old chirpy abs unit I should have not wasted more than...
I read a bit about the pivot clamps after I got the car. My question is, why Honda designed this remarkable complex suspension when just clamping it to make it "conventional" makes it better.
I...
I already have the sway bar (like it a lot) and I want to add the chassis braces to further improve the turn in.
I have no doubt that Honda did know their business when they developed the sway...
Thanks for sharing your experience!
Do you also have the R sway bar up front?
Bernhard
I have not yet made the inquiry so I can't answer your question. Sorry. Will keep you posted when I know. I am not finished with the list of parts I need for the winter maintenance projects yet.

This is exactly what I was looking for. I already bought parts there but I did not find it myself this time :(

Hello guys,
I found hundreds of threads and descriptions on the actual installation of the R chassis braces but I could not find the part numbers. Sadly I could not get my old EPC to run and I...
The quality of european fuel is better most of the time but the octane numbers aren't higher. US just use a different method to calculate the octane number. Their 93 RON fuel is the same octane...
Noooo, I just spent all my money on a new clutch ...
There are some battery specialists who say that these trickle chargers can also ruin batteries.

It seems that battery quality has degraded substantially over the last couple of years. Especially "premium" brand ones suffer from early death. Don't know if they changed something the way they are...
I assumed there are plastics clips like on my civic, therefor I did not touch it. Good to know that there are none.
Right now I just try to enjoy the car. Next weekend around the austrian alps....
I did not remove the side trims. I tried not to because I know how easy it is to break the plastic clips holding it :/
maybe I will invest another hour and try it again.

Did you fit the upper molding yet?
I swapped mine three weeks ago and it was a pain in the a** to get it in at the ends. Its still not 100% right but good enough for me.
