I've just had a clutch fitted for £1600. i was quoted £1800 but managed to buy the parts slightly cheaper on the continent. I'd go for it - I'm told the average is 30,000 miles between changes. ...
Couldn't see a mileage on that Silver one so difficult to guage a value.
Wow! Those Veyron drivers certainly were honoured!
Hi guys. Seen this?
true! I had a battle trying to find good tyres. mine are now BFG GForce on the front and Avon ZZ3 rears. I get lots of grip as long as I keep the pressures down lower than the OEM settings
Performance Car Magazine Car of the Year 1990. NSX won and the write-up includes mention that 'the NSX we tested was an auto, because a manual is not yet available in this country, and despite this...
Must vary a lot between cars then. My 91 is pretty much spot on up to 90 (any more than that and I'm not watching the speedo or the GPS )
Well I can't wait - my clutch is definitely slipping now so I've ordered the NA1 kit from Dirk. At current Euro rates () I'm spending about £1100 on the clutch kit, flywheel and new set of...
Interior's a bit dated!
sorry - slightly off-topic but I didn't think the '91 had a remote locking device or immobiliser. Was it an option?
BTW I have a 'McFly' keyfob if that helps!
If you're running non-oem tyres you need to run non-oem tyre pressures. I reduced mine down to 31psi front (BFG g-force) and 36 rears (Avon ZZ3). Traction is now excellent (even in snow!).
Congrats Ewan! Right then - about time for basingstoke meet isn't it? Must be Luke's turn to organise :)
Sorry Paul - I'll try next time but they have strict rules about posting dates of the runs.
We decided to do a photoshoot event at the Tunnel Run this week. Some of the shots are awesome. We were lined out at an office block in city Airport. After the shoot we did a great Tunnel Run (roads...
I've got the lightweight Taitec. Love it! Proper supercar soundtrack but not so loud that you lose the 'signature' induction noise from within the cab.
When I spoke to Chiswick Honda they have...
I had the same problem (on my NA1 so small wheels!) when I went to non-OEM tyres. Basically the recommended pressure is way too much for non OEM tyres. The book says 36psi front and 40psi rear (I...
Just got back from our West Country road trip :)! We had a cracking time in Cornwall but unfortunately lost our camera - so none of the pictures or videos I took will make it to this site :(
On...
...and even available for 'old-timers' like mine (205/50/15 and 225/50/16)!
silly question I'm sure - but the jacking points have bars across them, my axle stands and trolley jack do not... what do I do?
Where is the best place to position a trolley jack for lifting the NSX?
Is there anywhere to put axle stands? - I managed at the front but couldn't find a suitable surface at teh rear!
First and foremost this is a discussion forum. If you post an ad people are going to discuss it. If they are being unnecessarily negative (or positive) I'm sure members are intelligent enough to...
Hopefully £20k when I sell it later this year. I'm throwing in the NSX as well ;)
cheeky blighters. £4500 and only accepts cheques and bankers drafts. Can't imagine there's anyone that daft out there?
sorry - I've been off-line for a while - what's this guy up to?
