Hello, and specifically to Mike, who I keep talking to at the Scramblers events at Bicester Heritage. It's always nice to reminisce about my NSX days! And it turns out my account on here still...
Long since sold it. Subsequently had a BMW 130i M LE, then my current Jag XF S (I'm an eclectic car buyer, what can I say).
I loved the GT-R, it had bags more character than the 997 I tested at...
Well if we're going to get into what the market wants, then to my mind:
1. Normal people are sick of 'ring times and don't care. Cf: Civic Type R. Spend ages obsessing about the 'ring, nobody cares....
I think the i8 is one of the more interesting cars to have been produced in the last few years. Once you get beyond 400 hp or so, cars are all "bloody quick", so the addition of more horsepower,...
Hi -
I used to post on here some years ago, a few may remember me from the odd meet. I had a pristine 51 plate NSX 3.2 coupe, with red roof. I sold it to a lovely gent up in North Yorkshire,...
Hello, long time no post.
I always feared how a USA designed/engineered NSX would go, and I think my fears may be justified. 550-570hp is nice, but 1725kg and with economy described as poor I'm...
Silver coupe - popup model - in Chipping Norton today, around 4pm. Looked good. Looked bloody great actually.
Thanks.
One-77 was there, not roped off, could get pretty close. Looks great in the metal, have seen it before though so didn't spend too long around it.
Great to see such a good turnout. Thought rest of show a bit disappointing this year. Photo for you:

There's lots of horror stories around. But then they make a lot of cars. I think I was lucky with mine, it really never needed much doing. I had a new starter motor and some reversing sensors, and...
Cheap as chips. BMW wanted more than that for a single year to extend the warranty further on my (ex) 2001 M5. Probably says something about their relative reliability...
With respect, drive one and find out for yourself. They do *not* drive themselves, in that regard I was as surprised as the next man.
Tyres are 2.5k if you are willing to pay a main dealer for...
Know what you mean about Evora. The NSX is a better Evora, my old 3.2 certainly felt quicker in a straight line and had a much nicer sounding engine (and a bespoke engine too, which counts for a lot...
I did sell the NSX for a good price, you're right. I regret selling it a bit, though truth is I just wasn't using it and there's no point having an expensive ornament.
The GTR is great, worth a...
I'd just spotted that car and came on here to see what the collective thought of the price. My immediate reaction was "holy cow, I really did sell my 3.2 at the wrong time!". Can't remember if my car...
Shame you had to sell. This won't be any comfort, but the NSX is the *only* car I've regretted selling, I should have just kept it.
James - try not to prang it eh? ;)
Yes, sadly that thread has degenerated somewhat, as pretty much any thread on Pistonheads does. Or indeed any forum it seems. I don't know, its almost like the internet is full of total arseholes.

A few photos from me, nothing special. Nice to chat again with Nigel. I didn't think this year was as good as previous years, although it was still a good day out.
Yeah, that's accurate Honda horses versus complete-fabrication Italian horses though.
Used to use an Optimate charger on mine, seemed to work fine. Very useful particularly in winter when the car doesn't get used much.
You appear to have driven your NSX through a nuclear explosion. Did you survive?
Nice composition and very sharp, good colours. If I was being critical, it would be to say that if that's a tracking shot then its a shame there's no sense of movement in the photo. Still good though!
Welcome to my world.
Back to the topic (instead of discussing sodding R8s!) -
Got Car magazine through the door this morning, and sadly the write-up on the NSX is very disappointing. And not surprising, they picked...
I think there's a piece on this in the forthcoming magazine, but meantime this might interest you lot:...
