I started with de-greasing the engine bay and soaking it over nite, the next morning I soaked down the excess dirt and grease which immediately took affect.

That is only the first step in cleaning the engine bay. More to follow:)
Sudesh, what degreasing product did you use and did you use a cloth or soft brush? Did you leave the degreaser overnight to let it soak & how did you soak down next day? I assume you didn't hose down especially with wiring & connections nearby?

To soak down I just use warm water and fairy liquid as it aids in de-greasing and cleaning at the same time.
the next steps will be a steam clean, then another clean down using WD40, and buffing it out, as if you leave it thick, it will only catch dirt and dust.
The owner wanted to upgrade the exhaust. After inspecting the exhaust I knew this was going to be tought one as the exhaust joins were all ceased up and bolts were completely rusted.

I tried to remove some of the bolts but they were just shearing off and breaking and the heads were stripping. So In order to get the exhaust removed, we had to remove the exhaust and cats and remaining pipe.

The only way forward from here was to grind the bolts off so I got me friend to do that

Eventually seperated the cats from the back box
After removing the cats I removed the old bolts and replaced everything with new bolts including the heat shield bolts
