While stripping out the interior I noticed that someone had put a bit of masking tape over the brake/tail warning light on the speedo, after further inspection it was easy to see why going by the poor instillation of a fog light.

The wiring wasnt even correct which was causing the system to think there was a broken circuit but also allot of loose wiring.

I repaired all the cables and added a very simple circuit that allows us JDM NSX owners to retain both reverse lights, but when needed we can switch over to one reverse one fog light like the UK cars in a matter of mins. No more warning lights and I removed the sticker from the instrument cluster.

Andrew noticed a slight MISS in the car, so first thing I thought off was the common problem of spark plug corrosion.
As soon as I opened the engine hatch I noticed the coil covers were on wrong, ie front bank was on the rear and rear on the front, this meant the seals would be at the bottom rather than the top to stop water entering, I removed the covers and also noticed a collor was missing from the rear bank. Also someone had replaced the coils back to front too with RR on the front and FR on the rear.

Seals on the covers were very poor

New seals in stock and fitted

So I removed all the coils and as expected, corrosion on the RR coils, I think we were luck to catch this when we did, as the FR coils that were intalled on the rear must have just been swapped there before I received the car as they were still in nice condition.

So the old damaged coils were replaced with new and coils installed back in there correct position along with the covers and seals, car now runs smoothly.
Thermostat was shot in the car causing cool running.

Battery terminals had bits of wiring that were just cut off rather than totally removed. So i removed the olds bits.
