James,
You're thinking of the Series 2 DS models (1968-75), the CX had fixed lights. My DS is a series I so fixed non-enclosed lights.
Mark - if yours is a Series I it'll have that fab rotating drum speedo. Such a shame they made normal dials after that...
Sorry for the anoraksia. I'll post some pics of my big Cit once it sees daylight - next week hopefully - right after I've got myself a life.
Graham
Friend phoned to say he has just seen a black NSX on A34 - reg plate ending in NSX - the only other one he has seen on the road being mine
Kevin or the ForumAdmin, would it be possible maybe to have this "spotted thread" split into regional areas or counties or somethng similiar? I'm not trying to do your job, which everyone here very much appreciates, just that this thread will grow and grow and eventually will so long, its take ages to get to the latest threads? Just my 2p! Keep up the grand work. :)

If you click on the little downwards pointing arrow at the left of the thread title it takes you to the first unread post....no scrolling required.
James, Graham's correct it was the DS had the headlights that swivelled with the steering. Now if ever a car was ahead of it's time, the DS was!
My CX still has the magic carpet ride though, especially since I replaced the front "spheres" (sort of equivelent to dampers) and "accumulator" (of main hydralic pressure). Dead easy as well, took alll of 20 mins :-)
Graham, yes mine is a late model Series 1 with the rotating drum intrumants, here are a couple of pics...
Mark,
That's truly fab, love it! Nice to see a really well-kept one, they're becoming pretty rare. Citroen returning to form with the C6 but NSX-like rarity....

Spotted a red ( funny old thing) NSX heading north on A1 towards Biggleswade on the 22 Sept.
Anyone?
