I've sold a set in Switzerland and the buyer didn't install them yet but I'm not sure if that is of any help for you. How long do you have to wait for them?

Thanks to Kaz, I got the hoses much quicker than in the UK and sorted the problem a few weeks ago.
As NSX work is quite for at the moment, I have started some more work on my own car.
I replaced the crank pulley and new belts so thats some piece of mind for now. [didnt have the camera on me to take pics], but nothing overly complicated with the right equipment. Hardest part I guess is removing the bolt and many have broken sockets and bars trying to get this off lol
I decided to replace transmission oil again and also I wanted to check condition of the filter.
So as always remove the fill bolt first, once thats off remove the drain bolt and let gravity do its job, I had plenty of time so I let it drain and drip out for over an hour.

With both fill bolt and drain bolt removed I decided to give them a clean down

After clean down and new seals
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...8/SAM_4350.jpg
This is the cover where the filter is, it can be a little tricky to remove and usually gets damaged when removing so best to replace with new cover and seal.
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...8/SAM_4345.jpg
I managed to remove this one without it breaking, but wouldnt re-use it anyway. I also decided to replace the rest with new items, not necessary as the filter, spring and bolt can be re-used, but for all the cost involved I just went with all new bits. So I inspected the filter for any signs of metal chards and can report all was good!
old items

new items
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...8/SAM_4348.jpg
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...8/SAM_4349.jpg
So re-installed the new filter, spring cap and bolt!
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...8/SAM_4353.jpg
All thats left is to fill the box with MTF 3, so as always put the drain plug and new seal back on.
With some pipe and funnel running to the fill plug start pouring!
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...8/SAM_4351.jpg
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...8/SAM_4352.jpg
I can pretty much judge this correctly so know when to stop pouring, so with car on the level, the MTF fluid comes up to the level of the drain plug, and thats it! Job done, fit the filler plug and new seal, torque to spec and take for a test drive.
Next I'll be working on the drive shafts.
While doing some checks on my on car and trying to being cautious, I still managed to catch my arm on the exhaust, for only a few second and achieve a nasty burn
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...8/SAM_4521.jpg
That looks sore Sudesh, but its a painful way to bond with your car! :D
jeez mate NOT good, looks bloody sore!
thats 2 burns from an NSX now :)
very impressive work! Now I know what to do when I get my NSX...
Just received the stainless clutch hose and adapter for the NSX. So got around to installing it on my car today.
Quite a nice setup, it came complete with new bolts, OEM seal and obviously the other necessary bit.

http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...8/SAM_4587.jpg
So first remove drain the clutch resevoir, but even with that drained you will get some fluid dripping out so be careful and try not to get it on the body work, just keep a cloth handy to wipe down, with the hose removed I put the new seal on and bolted the end that goes into the clutch slave first really simple and and straight forward, only 2 bolts.

http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...8/SAM_4593.jpg
On this install I decided to remove the retain bracket that sits on the fire wall as I wanted to see how good a fit the new hose was and make sure the little clasp was nice and tight.
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...8/SAM_4594.jpg
http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...8/SAM_4595.jpg
The clasp fitted perfect and as good as OEM.
So, just bolt the bracket back up, install the metal clutch pipe into the female end of the new stainless hose and screw up the female end of the new hose to then adapter on the slave cylinder and thats it!
Just need to bleed the system now and have a test.

Hi All,
Has anyone had any recent contact with Sudesh?
I've tried calling and PM without any return over past couple of months.
Concerned to know he is OK please.
regards, Paul
Hi Paul
i spoke to Sudesh a couple of weeks ago mate, and he was fine then!
He is really flat out at the mo with his work and stuff and he is a hard man to nail down at the mo if honest ... i hope to pin him down to start working on my ABS upgrade but yeah he had said to me he has hardly been on here just due to lack of hrs in the day ... but he is still/should be knocking around. surprised you have not got a callback from him.
if i get speaking to him will be sure to let him know you were asking
regards
andrew
Hi Andrew,
Thanx for this and I spoke with Sudesh earlier today ... he has been a very busy man!
Sudesh, I forget to ask earlier ... do you have the part # for that small blamking plate used for the R steering wheel? It covers the U shape cut out that would normally be covered by the OEM airbag wheel.
Thanx in advance and talk soon about the other project
regards, Paul
NP Paul, glad you got in touch with him ... yeah he has been busy LOL!
im sure he said he has not been on the forum much but i will let him know about ur post re the steering wheel just in case as i should be speaking to him fairly soon again
:)
Paul, I'm not sure there is a Honda part # for what you require, the 'R' has different top & bottom column covers I believe.
Let me know if you come up trumps please Paul.
There is no part or part number for what you guys are after.
My car has the genuine NSX-R covers, so the hole didn't exist.
But what I did in the past and for other members crs was, get a back rubber grommet, insert it in the hole and cut it in half following along the edge of the colum cover.
As part of the refresh work, full interior re-trim service is now available or even small items, all done to any requirement/idea/design.
I used my own car to show the quality of work on just a few things I did.
So basically I decieded to do seats, roof lining, door card inserts and the 3 sun visor coverings.
My interior was already in good condition but a hate of mine was the dated pleated look of the seats and door cards and the grey roof was always a hit or miss thing. Most of the sun visors split at the side closest the windows and my own was no exception. I also a few years ago did my roof in black, but it was a vinyl spray and although it looked ok, I wanted to change it.
So here is how the interior bits used to look. These pics make the seats look more shiny than they actually are for some reason.

So what I wanted to go with was everything nice and plane and smooth finish, in REAL genuine NAPPA leather. This is not just a quick tidy up or the inserts redone etc etc. This is a full professional install, the seats are completely re-trimmed front/back/ headrest, the roof is completely trimmed in NAPPA leather, along with the sun visors and the door inserts.http://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...R/P1010741.jpghttp://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...R/P1010742.jpghttp://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...R/P1010743.jpghttp://i77.photobucket.com/albums/j7...R/P1010744.jpg
AND Thats it for now!
Photos really dont it justice, and that new leather smell is just fantastic inside the car, almost afraid to sit in it now lol.
If I ever get the NSX-R seats, the whole interior will be done as per the NSX-R!
2 words .... I WANT!
The seats, roof and visors look fantastic ... so much better than OEM
defo cant wait to see the finished article in the flesh, but i will defo be signing up for this work. seats and roof/visors for me as a starter.
the more i look at the door cards the more i am beginning to agree with you!
im sure the feel and smell of proper leather is fab!
Looks really nice and new..... don't crease your seats now:D
Hi Sudesh,
Very impressed, roughly how much to recover both seats, I would need red leather. Live in UK so I would have to bring the seats over.
