Certificate of conformity

Can anyone find a certificate of conformity for our NSX showing the Nitrogen Oxide output so I can try to get exemption for the early NSX for ULEZ?

you have to ask honda if they have one..... then, if they do,you'll be able to exempt your car... if they deem it worthy...

the frustrating thing is, if you get a exemption, it's not rolled out over all the NSX models that match yours, no, each owner has to get a cert from honda and apply individually.... funny that!

the whole thing is a scam....
1. they use a metric that isn't measured or recorded at MOT, so you can have the most badly tuned, most polluting NOx car and still be allowed in....
2. you can buy your way in for £12.50, so the whole argument goes out the window
3. don't mention Imperial college!

A distillation of information the internet, so could be wrong.
Euro 1: vehicles on or after 31 December 1992
Euro 2: Ditto but 01 January 1997
Euro 3: Ditto but 01 January 2001
Euro 4: Ditto but 01 January 2006
The standard for London ULEZ charging is less than 0.08g/km of NOx,
All Euro 4 petrol engined cars and Euro 6 diesels were required to meet the (current) ULEZ standard.
Plenty of Euro 3 (Jan 2001 on) meet the measured standard defined in the Euro 4 regulations.
HOWEVER NO EURO 2 cars meet the standard/ will pass BECAUSE for Euro 2 no stand alone readings were taken / required / published (the contemporary requirement was that the reading for NOx was combined with HC readings).
I can see an internet reported NOx readings for Euro 3, 2001 NSX with a published figure for NOx of 0.053, obviously below the 0.08gm/km.

If any of the above is factually incorrect, please amend accordingly.

As my speculation and no more:
Honda fitted a lot of additional emissions equipment to the NA2 cars to future proof them.
If the initial NA1 cars had met future legislative requirements then that work and equipment would have been both costly and unnecessary, hence, even if measured the earlier NSX did not meet the forthcoming standards.

If that speculation is flawed, please say; and if documentation exists that the NA1 cars meet the ULEZ/ Euro 4 standard of 0.08g/km please say.

I contacted Honda - they do not do certificates of conformance for cars over a certain age.

the biggest irony is when i took my hybrid toyota to be MOT'd (i know, but its a commuter car) they didn't even hook it up to the emissions test, not applicable apparently, even tho, as they battery was then useless, the engine was running throughout the test!!!
