Health Check and Parts

Rate this Entry

Since last August, I haven’t managed to carry out any Health Check as a stand alone service.

I did carry out a few for the owners who booked their NSX in for the major service as it was time for another Health Check from the last one any way and having their NSX for a long period allowed me some flexibility in scheduling it.

During the winter, it is not ideal for the Health Check as it will take at least 4Hrs and I don’t want the owners and their family to stay inside the cold garage.

I’m wearing the race fireproof suits so quite warm even in the freezing cold condition.

On the other hand, I would like the owner to stay with me inside the garage as I would like to talk with them while I’m checking their NSX.

This will enable me on getting additional information on how they enjoy their NSX as well as the driving conditions so that I can customise the Health Check Report for individual conditions.

Now that the weather is getting better, I’m hoping to start carrying out the service again.

But before that, I’m still waiting for the delivery of wheel speed sensors from Japan for one owner and he has the highest priority at the moment.

Within this delivery from Japan, I’m hoping to get the tiny Type-R interior parts for another owner.

All of them were on back order but I’m expecting Honda Parts to deliver them around early March and then these will be shipped out to UK so I hope I can receive them around 2nd week next month.

By the way, once again, it's time of the year...
Ayrton’s birthday soon…

From the last week of March till first or second week of May, I already have some appointments so very unlikely to be able to carry out any Health Check during the period.

I just hope I can find some time for the Mugen visit/dinner as well as for the Japfest….

So, some point in March, I’ll be carrying out the Health check but it will be on a short notice I’m afraid…

There are still about 25 owners on the list and some of them may have already sold their NSX but I’ll send the invitation email to everyone any way.

Looking forward to meeting some of you in the near future.

Regards,
Kaz
