Small contamination trapped at the VTEC spool valve filter.

It’s the later spec one so the solenoid has
smaller diameter (about 25mm) compared to
the original one (about 35mm).

For JDM and European spec,
the change over happened during 94 model so
you must check your engine no. when placing the
order for the two filters.

In fact, on the later spec, one of the gasketdoesn’t even have the filter.

Keep washing the cam holders.
Very dirty ones at the rear bank and again,
what a mess with all these black liquid gasket.......

You can’t clean these black debris without
removing the cam shafts.

Another fact to show the limit of standard service.

Keep washing the parts…..

The TB back cover plates.
Of course, all of the gaskets will be replaced.

TB front and rear covers.

Someone decided to use super glue to
hold the seal in place on these covers.......

Yes, super glue........
No idea why because it will harden and make the seal solid that
it won’t make any good sealing.......

On top of this, the amount of glue was so excessive that
I’m struggling to remove the old one.
