Adjusted the bonnet latch.
As reported earlier, right side would drop too far without
the height adjuster yet it will prevent the bonnet from
closing without dropping it from really high position so
used the best compromise.

Spare tyre already showing the crack so if using it,
please be extremely careful with it.

Personally, I would replace the tyre based on the nice write up from
several owners here on NSXCB site and
carry the foam can for quick puncture repair although it won’t work if
you have damaged the side wall.

Time for test driving session.

Lots of wind noise from both door window and it was from the area
just above the front triangle sash as I noticed some water leakage into
the cabin when I was washing the car later.
Will apply silicone grease and leave it overnight to see how it goes.

After general checkup, engaged the VTEC as I removed the camshafts
during the service and no problem.

Then, everything seemed to be fine so went on to the dual carriage way with
constant 70mph cruising to put the O2 sensors into feedback mode.

In the past, I heard from two owners that they got CEL on the way back or
several days later after having their TH butterfly washed.

Both cases were related to O2 sensor feedback (not the heater) error and
after reading the error code, it was cleared and never came back.

It seems that I didn’t put long enough feedback loop during
the test driving session so since then, I started extending the test driving session.
No CEL so happy with it.

Cooled down the engine and then washed the car.

Will dress the engine and front compartment later.

As I use the timing belt kit from Japan, it has sticker inside the package.
Will place it at the opening of driver side door.

It took extra weeks to finish working on this NSX but
I’m so happy to find the cam timing issue this time.

Thank you for using my service and I hope the owner will
keep this NSX for many years.

Regards,
Kaz
