Recently, another owner contacted me for his A/C issues.
He just bought his NSX and felt like his A/C was not working.


There are lots of things to be checked for any A/C issues but
as he has spare A/C CCU, he wants to first fix the CCU board and then
have his A/C system inspected.


His centre console is also damaged but because it has JDM spec finish,
it must be ordered from Japan.

Surprisingly, over the past 20 years,
the price of JDM spec centre console went up only by about GBP60 so
it’s a bargain compared to other parts of which the price went up in the
order of 100s.


The spare CCU that he has is from the early model and thus,
the board material is the original spec with black capacitors.















And no surprise, lots and lots of acid leakage.


Not easy to take good photos under poor lighting so
will take better ones once the capacitors have been removed.



As I’ll be start working on another NSX that will also go though my
CCU board service, I will use ' A-** ' in the title for the owner of
this spare CCU.
