Installed the new valve cover gaskets ‘main’ and ‘C’ as well as the
plug hole seal ‘B’.
So much better now if you compare to how they used to look like as below.......

Not much time taking photos while carrying out the marathon session of
valve clearance adjustment as I don’t want to be disturbed so
this is just to give you some idea on how it was done.

Rear bank adjusted and checked twice and..........

.........front bank went through the same process.

This is the last chance that I can check the valve timing and the belt tension so
double checked them again and time to close the engine.

As always, no time for taking the photo while dealing with the liquid gasket so
just the result.
Rear and frnt bank valve covers are now back on the engine.

They used to look like this.

Before start of the service, the front TB mid cover was not installed properly and
hence it was slightly warped and got set.
So, bit worried about the possibility of cam pulley scratching the internal wall of
the cover as it’s now installed properly but I didn’t feel anything on the cover while
rotating the engine so hope it won’t make any noise.

Now that the engine is almost closed, I'm happy to start working on the coolant hoses
at the upper side of the engine and then time to look into the completely dead
CAT stud bolt…….

More to follow later.
