Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer

Time to test the repaired head unit.
Used two Bose AMPs and the real Bose speakers from NSX for the testing.

Managed to find ancient cassette tape and played it for a while to
check the tape deck features.

Then, made simple ANT to check the radio features.

As I didn’t have spare iPod adaptor, couldn’t test the CD changer port but
the owner will be installing it so hope he can report back to me later.


In order to confirm that there is no cracking noise from the head unit,
tested FR/FL and RR/RL signals in pairs for 2Hrs each.

Obviously, I didn’t stay at the bench for 4Hrs continuously but
every time when I passed in front of it,
I listened to the music for a while and it was fine.


I’ll test it one more day under same condition and
then the unit is ready to be returned.
I forgot to test the illumination circuit so that needs to be done at the same time.


Hope you can enjoy the music again but you may need to
have all three Bose AMP serviced if the cracking noise is still there.
