What a dirty front beam…..
It should be the same colour as the floor.
All the sticky black thingy is the road film, oil seepage, sand, etc….
You don’t even want to see the bottom side…..
It’s just black……

As reported earlier, the area around the front mount needs really good washing.
It’s going to take some time….

There was tiny but obvious crack at the front mount rubber.
The crack is still partial and not gone through all the way so still can be
re-used but something to be addressed in a few years time.

So, the engine is out.
While the engine bay is empty, will give a good cleaning.
Also, will replace the fuel filter as well.

The two fuel lines nearby were scratching each others.
Probably bent when the fuel filter was replaced last time.
Very common human error on our NSX but partially,
I think it’s a design issue as well, I’m afraid.

Time to inspect the existing engine status.

The front cyl head was fairly clean at the middle but the oil seepage from
both outer edges were making the area very wet.

Most of the oil seepage at the front section was coming from the
camshaft cap at the front exhaust side.
Very common on our NSX.

Front valve cover.
Not much water marking compared to the rear bank.

However, it was not installed properly against to front TB cover.

Not good because there is TB just behind there.
