Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer

The replacement hose from Japan has arrived.

Thank you to Honda Parts Japan not only for the quick response but also
taking care of the delivery charge to UK.

This time, obviously no damage to the hose although I just found that
the focus of the photo was not great.


I really need new digital camera……

Carried out another vacuum leak check after installing the replacement hose but
this time, I left it under vacuum only for 30min as I was happy with the previous result.

Vacuum fill the system.

Warmed up the engine and will adjust the coolant level tomorrow.

[Edit: As I refurbished the left side drive shaft, replaced the MTF and CL Hyd system, went through all gears including reverse to spin the wheel on the lift.]






So, pretty much everything is done and without the brake calipers and brackets,
I can’t do any more apart from cleaning the TH Butterfly.


Based on the information from Bigg Red, it seems that
I won’t be able to get the brake system back at my place until
around Wednesday/Thursday time….


Probably, I’ll clean my NSX in the mean time.

I also need to carry out the TB service on my MX-5 in the near future so
will start looking into the parts from tomorrow.

The WP bearing has just started making some noise so bit concerned….
