There was no crack at the coolant header tank but
all of the coolant hoses looked very old.

In fact, on the later spec NSX,
you will be able to see the manufactured date stamped on most of the hoses.

Just squashed all of the big and mid sized hoses including the ones under
the centre floor from several angle at different part of each hoses.

The hose at the radiator bottom side around this area
was already started to soften compared to the area around the middle and
close to the radiator neck of this hose.

At the end,
the owner decided to go for the full refurbishment of the cooling system
so not only the hoses but also the header tank, cap, thermostat, etc
will be replaced.

Even if your NSX is a garage queen and
of low annual mileage,
think twice
about the condition of your brake system.

I have already test driven more than 60 UK based NSX and
only one,
yes,
just one
has passed my brake testing.

Even for this low mileage fairly latest spec NSX,
one of the piston was already pitted and the rust managed to get
behind the groove of dust boot seat inside the caliper.

Will apply special treatment during the rebuild process to prevent the future corrosion.

Calipers removed, boxed and off to Bigg Red for the polymer coating.

[Update 15/Jun/12:
Bigg Red has confirmed that they have already received the package.]

Throughout the service, whenever it is possible or safe to do so,
the battery will be connected to the battery conditioner to keep it healthy.
