Engine is out.

As the bolt/nut at the front engine mount were missing for many years, I knew that the entire drivetrain might have shifted that I took extra caution before removing the bolts at the side mounts and the rear sub frames.
This resulted in extra hour taking the engine out.

Cleaned the engine bay.

You won’t be able to see most of the area once the engine and other parts have been placed back together but that’s why you want to clean the area while the engine is out.

The area under the air box. Before and After.
Now it’s clean.

Started to investigate the state of the engine and oil seepage around the cyl head and engine block.

Addition to the missing bolt and nut at the front engine mount, I don’t understand why people tries to force the bolt not aligned properly.

One of the bolt at the engine Side mount was crossthreaded.
As the damage is quite severe but about first 5 thread on this specifc bolt is not going to affect the final torque, I will try to file them down or simply replace it.
Re-threading the bolt with this level of damage is not ideal and may damage the mating thread.

As seen on many NSX, the area around the cam shaft cap were really dirty on both fromt and rear banks.
