Today at Atelier Kaz - ex-Honda R&D, F1, Indy/CART engineer

Started the OH of drive shafts.
Not much to report or taking photos during this process as it’s such a messy and greasy tasks….

1st stage cleaning and inspection done on all 12 rollers.
No critical markings in the pillow pocket area so moving onto the disassembly and re-planting the 100’s of pin bearings.

It may rust again but still, I like to paint the joint housing because it will minimise the risk of getting any rusty particles on my fingers that may get in contact with the fresh grease during the re-assembly process.


Why it’s so cold…. Looks like I need to take these back inside to keep them warm…..
My boss is away for about 2 months and won’t be back until next week so should be fine…
