Unless you take the engine out and set the engine/cylinder block upside down, you only have very short time to keep the oil pan mating surface oil free after wiping it down with the brake cleaner.
Not much photos here as I was dealing with the liquid gasket which needs only 5min before it starts to cure so had to be really quick in installing everything.
Once pre-installed the bolts and nuts, I prefer tightening them using the micro torque wrench just enough to squash the rubber gasket a little.
It’s nowhere near to the specified 14Nm as in the workshop manual but never had any issues for 100s of engines and it prevented the oil leakage longer than the ones without this method.
