Preparing for the engine removal.

The basic procedure is well documented in the service manual and you should customise it based on your setup so not going to the detail here.

As seen on many NSX, you will probably spend more time on dealing with the corroded bolts and nuts at the Exhaust/CAT area than actually taking the engine out.

Moved the Engine harness from the cabin into the engine bay, disconnected the coolant hoses and shifted the CL Slave cyl so the top side of the engine is almost ready.
Just need to disconnect the fuel line at the very last moment.

While draining the coolant, reviewed the state of the CAT and exhaust bolts and nuts. For my setup, ideally, I wanted to leave the CATs connected to the headers and separate them from the exhaust.

However, looking at the state of the Rear CAT, I didn’t want to spend ages trying to remove the rusty nuts so decided to leave them and separate it from the rear bank header.

Thanks to KSP Engineering header design as I can take out the short tube with the O2 sensor to achieve this.

Removed the shift cables.
