Cooling System 02

Rate this Entry

While replacing the coolant hoses, there are not much to report. You just keep removing the old hoses and install the new ones.

Front hoses and water valve removed.

Header tank, thermostat and hoses removed from the engine bay.
Extra hoses involved as this NSX is AT model.

As mentioned many times, what a short sentence to describe this task.
Normally, it will take about 8Hrs.

Seems to be the cooling system of this NSX was looked after quite well. Only one pipe corrosion so far.
Before and after.

In fact, I see more corrosion on later models due to the extended service interval and wrong method used to topping up the coolant after the header tank started to leak.

Thermostat already lost its internal seal and as a standard procedure, will be replaced with the new design one.

Keep removing and replacing the hoses…..
More to follow.
